About this Show
The show premiered in 1951 and ran until 1955, producing 59 known episodes. William Gargan, who had played Martin Kane, Private Eye on both radio and television, brought a different and more cerebral quality to Craig. The show was produced by Frank and Anne Hummert, the prolific team behind dozens of soap operas and dramas, but Barrie Craig stood apart for its tight writing and noir sensibility. It remains one of the better-remembered detective dramas of radio's final years.
