About this Show
Murder at Midnight was a transcribed program produced in New York and distributed by the World Broadcasting System, created by Louis G. Cowan. It ran from mid-April 1946, with 52 episodes recorded through December 1946, and broadcast into 1947. Raymond Morgan hosted with the theatrical gravity of a man who took his macabre responsibilities seriously. Anton Leder directed the series. The show drew from Inner Sanctum's universe of plots while adding its own Gothic ambitions.
