About this Show
The Lone Ranger premiered January 31, 1933, created by George W. Trendle, James Jewell, and writer Fran Striker. Earle Graser assumed the role in May 1933 and held it until his death in a car accident on April 7, 1941. Brace Beemer, who had been the show's announcer, took over on April 18, 1941, and remained until the final original episode on September 3, 1954. Each half-hour episode was performed live three separate times in the same day to accommodate different time zones.

Reviews
Great for the kids — clean entertainment with real storytelling. We listen to an episode every night before bed. The booklet helps put the shows in historical context.
Bought the CD set for my father for Christmas. He was brought to tears. These are the same episodes he listened to as a boy in the 1940s.
