About this Show
Mr. and Mrs. North began as a Broadway play in 1941, adapted from the Lockridge novels. The radio version premiered in 1942 on NBC, with Alice Frost and Joseph Curtin as Pam and Jerry. In 1946, the show received the inaugural Best Radio Drama Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America. A television version aired from 1952 to 1954, with Barbara Britton and Richard Denning in the lead roles, sponsored by Revlon.
