About this Show
Box 13 was created and produced by Alan Ladd's own company, Mayfair Productions, and premiered on the West Coast on March 15, 1948. The East Coast run began August 22, 1948, on WOR, running until August 14, 1949. Ladd was at the height of his movie career when he made Box 13. All 52 episodes were produced and all 52 survive — making Box 13 a complete work, which is extremely rare in OTR.
