About this Show

Buck Rogers originated in a 1929 science fiction story by Philip Francis Nowlan, published in Amazing Stories. The newspaper comic strip launched January 7, 1929, and became a sensation. CBS adapted it for radio beginning November 7, 1932. The show ran as a daily 15-minute serial (720 episodes, 1932–1936) before returning to Mutual for additional runs. Multiple actors voiced Buck Rogers across different runs: Curtis Arnall, Matt Crowley, Carl Frank, and John Larkin.
