The Falcon premiered on the Blue Network on April 10, 1943, bringing Drexel Drake's debonair detective to radio audiences. The series ran for over 11 years across Blue Network, NBC, and Mutual, with Michael Waring solving crimes with intelligence and charm.

Multiple acclaimed voice actors portrayed The Falcon: Berry Kroeger, James Meighan, Les Tremayne, Les Damon, and George Petrie each brought their own interpretation to the role. Sponsored by Gem Razor Blades and Kraft Foods, the show became one of radio's most popular detective programs.
